| The Pump House is a traditional style cottage, in which location overlooks a beautiful Victorian lawn with native and exotic trees to the front, and a cobblestone yard to the back. The cottage is tastefully decorated throughout, bright and spacious. It is situated right after our 18th century house, in the middle of 35 acres of farmland dotted with ancient trees, shrubberies, and a wide variety of wildlife and domestic animals. The cottage is only 20 minutes walk from the historic town of Athy. |

| The extra large bed in the bedroom has a high quality zip and link mattress, which can be converted into two single beds, if so required. There is also room for a fold out bed or cot. In the loft over the kitchen, there is a double futon, where two adults or older children can sleep. Crisp cotton sheets, fluffy pillows, and snug duvets. |

| It is located 67km southwest of Dublin and has good access routes to Dublin airport and to the seaports of Dublin, Dun Laoghaire (83km) and Rosslare (110km). It also has good train and bus connections and is conveniently located within an hour’s driving of Dublin and many of the Midlands main towns: Kildare, Naas, Newbridge, Carlow, Portaloise, Kilkenny, Tullamore and Athlone. County Kildare is the centre of the horse breeding and training industry in Ireland and many of the major stud farms and training establishments are located in the county. |

Additional sleeping is available on the sofa bed in the living room. |

| The tranquil Village of Robertstown is just a 1 minute walk away with 4 Pubs for the craic and music, There are two Grocery Shops, a Post Office, and majestically standing at the end of the village is the old Grand Canal Hotel. Take a stroll down to the marina, admire the many boats - listen to the birds singing, watch the fish scurrying to catch the bait from the fishermen but avoiding the hook! Barge trips depart from the Hotel on a regular basis from during the Summer months. Just a short stroll away is Lowtown marina. Lowtown is the crossroads of the canal to the Barrow line, Shannon line, and the Dublin line. |
